CUBRC and its TriBioMed partners have recently begun significant new undertakings in the area of biological reagent development and synthesis, with the initiation of two proof-of-concept research projects arising out of Prosetta Corporation scientific discoveries. The first involves a novel and unique technological approach to poly to monoclonal antibody cloning and the second the production of ‘conformer-specific’ antibodies. Each offers up the prospect of a significant decrease in production time and cost, together with an expansion of capabilities and practical applications.
