As businesses become more dependent on their computer networks, ensuring the protection, security, and stability of those resources becomes a critical priority. Current state-of-the-art in the protection and defense against cyber attacks to computer networks, however, is becoming inadequate as these networks and systems become more complex and hackers become more sophisticated. CUBRC’s Information Exploitation team has been funded by the Department of Defense to apply their expertise in Multisource Information Fusion to develop advanced capabilities in providing cyber network Situational Awareness, Threat Prediction, and Impact Assessment for cyber security analysts of government and industrial sized networks.
