Driving Innovation in Defense Sectors

Technology Transition & System/Software Engineering Services

CUBRC’s core business strategy is based on the transfer of emerging technologies from the research and development phase to practical implementation and fielding within the defense and intelligence sectors. The process encompasses several key stages, including technology assessment, evaluation, validation and ultimately deployment.

From research to deployment and product support, CUBRC bridges the gap between emerging technologies and the fielding of technologies serving the defense and intelligence communities.

Through close collaboration with our industry partners, academia and government agencies, CUBRC works to identify cutting-edge technology innovations with potential military applications, assess their feasibility and relevance and gradually transition them into operational use.

From R&D to Practical Implementation

A key part of our technology transition efforts are performed through strategic partnerships with our industry and government partners including small businesses.

CUBRC works directly with lead systems integrators and program executive offices as a member of multi-disciplinary teams that provide expert RDT&E services that support the transition, fielding and support to various programs of record and other major initiatives.

Additionally, CUBRC often serves as the research and technology transition/commercialization partner for small businesses under the US Department of Defense Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
